everything else was in terrible condition.3 euros for 5 min shower come on????also this place was so dirty and filthy.i never want to stay there again
Great location. Staff very helpful.
The room we had was in need of updating. The furnishings etc were very tired and the wear and tear in the room was plain to see. The room we had had little natural light and was therefore quite dark and we did not really want to spend any more time that absolutely necessary in it. We appreciate this was a budget hotel but improvements are needed.
It costs an extra € 3,- to use a shared shower on another floor. The shared toilet is very small.
Very small room (for 3). run down. Windo opens to other rooms bathroom window. Noisy. Bed was very bad.
Hotel is localizated in old building (built before Lous iv times), so it has a special "spirit" - you see this old stones and walls, can touch it. It is amazing feeling. The localisation is the bigest atut of the hotel. It is very very close to Louvre. Also it is localisated in collateral street, so there is not so loud like in another Paris's hotels. It is very good hotel for students and travellers, who came to Paris for sightseeing and need the hotel only for sleeping. I recommend it especially for such traveller. Especially, that prise is not high and wifi is free.
Because the hotel is adapted old building, toilets and bathroom is the bigest problem for rooms without it. There is only 2 small toilets and one bathroom, which costs 3 euro for 15 min. Shower. But a sink is in every room, so if you know how to wash yopurself in sink it won't be a problem for you. There is also small rooms (but as I said above - it is not a problem for people who need hotel only for spending night). The travelles who sail or like spending time in camps will accept the hotels' conditions. But it is not for people who like to have luxury.
next to louvre museum
shared toilets and old structure
The best thing about this hotel is the location and thats it. At best this is a low quatily motel 6. But you are two minute walk to a supermarket and five minute walk to the Louvre, All the main sight seeing sites are all within ten to fifteen minute walk. You should only choose this hotel if you want to save money on lodging cause any other reason and you will be diisappointed. I would only recommend this hotel for some one who only wants to save money.
This hotel has alot of problems first there is a 3 euro fee to use the shower. Then they really dont clean your room, they make your bed and change your towls thats it. This hotel is super noisy you hear banging and all kinds of noise from other rooms till about midnight. The out side noise is also bad, this hotel has no A/c so you have to open a window so all the outside traffic and people noise will keep you up till about 1 am. There are more little things that will annoy you after you check in. The make you pay your total up front so your stuck here.Over all not the worst place to stay but I think you could do better for just a little more money.
the first day the water didn't run. For older people: it's 5 stairs up if you are on top. Breakfast you take better elswhere.
the guy at the reception was very nice. However it was his last day!
Especially the location...only 500 meters from the Louvre
It's so close to the Louvre, to the center of the city, that you can ignore some other bad aspects. A good choice for the people who want to see a lot from Paris and want just to sleep in the room.
There are many bad things, but considering that is cheap, maybe I can understand a lot. I had a room where my window was opening to a ...wall...But, ok, like I said, I went to Paris to see the tourist attractions and with little money.
The best is the location of the hotel
I was surprised by the shower restrictions, cannot be taken before 7.30 in the morning and no accses in the evening. One day no one showed up until 8. 30 so the shower could not be taken before than. The staff suggested taking during the day. Also while booking there is nothing mentioned about shower fee which is 3€ every time you want to shower. This shower limitation put me off from booking in this place ever again.
The location was brilliant, right near the Louvre and with good proximity to the main attractions. Plenty of Restaurants and a large shopping centre close by. The hotel was full of Parisienne character. The staff helped carry my very heavy suitcase up the stairs, organised taxis for us etc.
The building is very old and could do with some tlc such as re-attaching the power points to the walls. The bed was also old and uncomfortable but some how that was all part of the charm of the place.
It was near Louvre
Extremely small room to accomodate 3 people! Bathroom was shabby and the shower pipe kept falling down! Narrow stairs and rooms are all in the upstairs. Not suitable at all for family or elderly or people carrying heavy luggages.
Service from Staff is very very bad. They don't care anything for the traveller. We cannot use their facilities such as microwave, wi-fi from the top floor.-> Don't wrote in Booked.net that we can use wifi in hotel. For the first night. They didn't prepare 2 towels for us even we book the hotel for 2 persons. They give only one and we came back late on the first night, no one there. So we ask them on next day, they just said why we didn't tell them!!! This is what you must prepare in advance, isn't it?
Very nice staff, excellent location.
Very very small room but enought for everything that you have to do when you are only visiting a city. Shower Room very very small. The internet have some problems to go until the last floor, but on the stairs it's good. The pictures on Booked.net were different from the reality.
